The World's Finest Chess: A timeless game in a timeless design

Consistent in quality and material, this handcrafted chess set is not only the finest of its kind in the world, but also a masterpiece that generations will enjoy. The 32 ultra-modern chess pieces are made of 925 sterling silver, half of which is gold-plated.

The slender chess pieces glide on a fine chess board handcrafted in Germany from two types of wood, the exotic wenge and European maple.

The game is presented in a handmade leather chess box by renowned Danish bookbinder and box maker August Sandgren.

The complete design is in line with Robbe & Berking's signature and effortless elegance. It exudes sophistication, serenity and tranquility at the same time. And the longing for precisely this tranquility is growing. "There are more important things in life than constantly increasing its speed." Mahatma Gandhi's quote seems more apt today than ever.
