Robbe & Berkings tea novelties add special sparkle to any tea time
In 2023, the silversmiths from the manufactory Robbe & Berking in Flensburg are setting the scene for an absolute trend theme. Tea! The oldest hot beverage in the world - often as expensive as fine wine.
As an alternative to the omnipresent to-go mentality, enjoying a cup of tea becomes a small ritual for more and more people and it is heart-balm in any stressful everyday life situation.
The matching tea accessories should not be made of plastic or steel, but only of silver. Robbe & Berking now wants to spoil tea lovers with two new tea strainers made of silver and a teapot coaster made of fine walnut with a special silver setting. All works complete the extensive tea collection of the house.
The revolving tea strainer is rotatable, gimballed above a drip tray and ensures that all tea drops are reliably collected after pouring. The special Art Deco handle goes back to a design by Theodor Berking, silversmith and third-generation company owner, from 1929. This tea strainer presents the aesthetics of this important international art period in a very unique way.
The two-piece tea strainer with Corian handle and drip tray captivates the observer with its fascinationg colour contrast between the chic, almost black Corian handle and the silver sheen of the strainer and tray. This effect makes it a real eye-catcher at any tea ceremony.
The tea coaster is made of noble walnut and set with a silver setting. The interplay of two special natural materials provides a stylish base for any teapot.
All three products are available in 925 sterling silver as well as in 90 g silver plating.
